OUR HISTORY
A working merino sheep farm set on 300 acres of stunning farmland. 3 hours from Melbourne, based in the town of Penshurst, Victoria.
The heart of the property is the spectacular Chateau Kolor bluestone homestead built in 1868. The property also features beautiful Heritage listed gardens and the old Wool-shed. The beautifully manicured gardens offer many options for your ceremony and drinks. The property looks over the gorgeous Grampians and local farmlands. The stunning sunsets take your breathe away and the property truly is a special piece of Australian history.

WEDDINGS
We love to hold Weddings at Chateau Kolor. We are located 3 hours from Melbourne and 20 mins from Hamilton in the Western District of Victoria. Weddings will require a catering company with the relevant insurance and liquor license required. The homestead can be used for your big day, however we recommend a marquee on the old tennis court or amongst the beautiful heritage listed gardens. To find out more and availability please get in touch. We can also provide you with recommended vendors to use on your big day.
ACCOMODATION
The Chateau Kolor homestead sleeps up to 10 people. Rooms can be booked individually or the entire homestead can be booked. We have two bathrooms, Billards Room, Formal Dining Room, Casual Dining Room, Reading Room, Casual Lounge Room, Formal Lounge Room, Cellar (off limits) and the Tower which has great views over the property and to the Grampians.
